The End of Summer is Near!
September 18, 2008
Well! I’ve been able to get a few more mountain bike rides in with friends
I went with Andrea & Christina to do the Cashe-Game trail, which was an 18 mile loop. We were soooo done when we returned to town! Old Bill’s Fun Run event was this past weekend & I worked the PAWS table, while hanging out with Elvis, the rottweiler. I scored a new visor from the Teton Science school & ate some Twix bars from the wolf awareness booth LOL Old Bill’s is a great event held every year where all the non-profit organizations in town get together & people that make $$ donations are matched dollar for dollar by “Old Bill” (he is an anonymous person).
Sacre was able to loft my bed & did a fantastic job of it, I worked for the Chamber of Commerce in a booth last Sunday & I did one of my last mountain bike tours! Now, I can concentrate on moving things into my new place & planning my trip to Cali in October
Lots of work to get done in the next 2 weeks, so I’ll be a busy worker bee . . . check in with y’all later!

PS: My new neighbors are totally cool too!
A Visit to JH by Lynn & her Friends!
September 12, 2008
Last week was great to have off
Lynn, Colleen, Jeanne & I explored all over the place! We had a fun time rafting the day after they arrived (this time I sat in the back with the very cute guide!). In their souped-up Nissan Murano rental we traveled all around Yellowstone, took lots of beautiful pics & stayed overnight in the Old Faithful Snow Cabins. I took them to experience the Verge one night (a pretty seedy bar in town) & I dressed like WT & sang some country karaoke. Another night we camped out on Shadow Mountain & ate tons of s’mores as we drank merrily & sang a million songs as it rained down on us (& snowed in the mountains from afar!). My boss let us take some bikes @ no charge & we rode them out to the village to hang out at one of the spas for awhile. Plus, I took them to the roping contest @ the rodeo grounds, 43 North 1 night for dancing & Dairy Queen for ice cream. We ate so much good food & drank so many drinks, I definitely need a vacation from stuffing my face!
In other news, I finally got the keys to my new place! My bed is in + my suitcase of clothing. Now the hard part starts! The loft will be built this weekend & I’ll slowly move some furniture in to see what fits - LOL! Pics of the log cabin studio will be posted seperately for your viewing pleasure . . .
Much coming up this weekend for PAWS & I’ll be working 2 events Fri & Sat.
Should be a good time! Cheers
